During the meeting, both sides underscored the longstanding historical and cultural ties between Iran and India and emphasized the importance of further enhancing cooperation and strengthening institutional engagement between the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai and the relevant Indian authorities. Administrative coordination mechanisms at the state and national levels, as well as avenues for facilitating consular and maritime matters, were also discussed. The protection of nationals and ongoing cooperation in this regard were highlighted, and both sides expressed their commitment to maintaining constructive communication and coordination.
